About Mahila Ekta Sangh
Mahila Ekta Sangh, founded on November 1, 2010, by the dedicated social worker Geeta Patel, stands as a beacon of hope and change in the slums and chawls of our cities. With a passionate commitment to uplifting the poor and marginalized, this NGO has carved a significant niche in the realms of children’s education, women’s empowerment, and community development. Geeta Patel’s unwavering dedication has inspired a movement that empowers individuals to rise above their circumstances and build better futures. Through various initiatives and programs, Mahila Ekta Sangh tirelessly works to provide quality education for children, enhance opportunities for women, and foster a sense of unity and progress within the community.
Education
Recognizing the critical importance of education, we actively identify students who have dropped out of school within the community. Our team works tirelessly to motivate and support these children, encouraging them to re-enroll in public schools and providing them with the resources they need to succeed.
Food
We understand that a healthy diet is essential for a child’s growth and development. Mahila Ekta Sangh provides nutritious meals to children from poor and marginalized sectors of the community, ensuring they receive the sustenance necessary for their physical and mental well-being.
Women Empowerment
Empowering women is at the heart of our mission. We offer comprehensive training programs that equip women with valuable skills, enabling them to earn a sustainable income and achieve economic independence. Our initiatives help women build confidence, gain financial stability, and contribute meaningfully to their families and communities.
